Lenses have many applications
ranging from the simple collection of a laser
beam to precise imaging and image transfer. Lenses
are classified as singlets, doublets and cylindrical
lenses. Spherical Singlets include Plano-Convex
Lenses, Plano-Concave Lenses, Bi-Convex Lenses,
Bi-Concave Lenses, Positive Meniscus and Negative
Meniscus. Doublets include Negative Achromatic
Doublets and Positive Achromatic Doublets. Cylindrical
lenses include Positive Plano Convex and Negative
Plano Convex cylinder lenses. If you are unable

Mirrors are available
in a variety of sizes and shapes. In addition to
shape and dimensions, the other primary specifications
include the reflective coating, the substrate material,
the flatness or surface accuracy, and cosmetic surface
quality. From the perspective of manufacturing,
coatings can be classified as either metallic, dielectric
or hybrid and as single-layer or multi-layer. Metallic
coatings are usually deposited by evaporating a
metal, such as aluminum or gold. Dielectric coatings
are made of dielectric materials (electrically non-conductive)
such as magnesium fluoride (MgF2). Hybrid coatings
consist of dielectric layers deposited upon a metallic
base layer. Purely dielectric coatings may be single
layer. Hybrid coatings are, of course, always multi-layered.

Prisms are blocks of optical material
with flat polished sides arranged at precisely controlled
angles to each other, which deflect, deviate and
rotate beams of light as well as dispersing their
wavelengths.
There are many types of prisms, each having a particular
geometry to achieve the reflections necessary to
perform a specific imaging task. Reflecting prisms
may invert, rotate, deviate or displace a beam.
Dispersing prisms produce spectral separation for
spectroscopic applications or for tuning a laser
output.
ChinaOpticsNet offers many kinds of high precision
prisms, but please keep in mind that selection of
the most suitable prism is primarily dependent on
the application.

Windows are used to isolate different
physical environments while allowing light pass.
When selecting windows you should consider the following
properties, transmission, scattering, wavefront
distortion, parallelism and resistance to certain
environment. ChinaOpticsNet offers a wide range
of different materials and different degree of precision
windows. Special materials are available upon request.
ChinaOpticsNet provides varieties of single layer
or multilayer anti-reflecting coating on optical
windows. Please refer to the Coating chapter for
more information.

Transmission Range: 185-2500nm
Refractive Index: 1.4858@308nm.
Low Thermal Expansion Coefficient:0.54*10-6K |
Better performance from UV to
IR spectrum. Also, it is the best choice for
resistance thermal application. |
|
BK7
|
Transmission Range: 330-2100nm
Refractive Index: 1.5164@588nm |
Good performance over visible
and near IR spectrum of most application. |
|
Sapphire
|
Transmission Range : 180-4500nm
Refractive Index: 1.755@1000nmStrong hardness |
Suit for scratch resistance
application with better transmission over
the wide range spectrum. It can be made much
thinner. |
